Weigh in #3


This week: -8 pounds
Total loss: 26 pounds

Wow.  I don't know how this is possible.  I think maybe most of it is because I was sick this weekend.  I came down with a cold on Friday.  I didn't feel well and couldn't taste food so I know I didn't eat much.  I'm guessing that a few pounds will find their way back to me in the coming week(s).  Either way, it's a good start and I'm happy about it!

The great weigh in this morning made me motivated.  My friend Alicia had asked me to go on a walk with her tonight.  I was going to see if she wanted to do Week 1, Day 1 of C25K.  She called me in the afternoon and said her shins were really sore so she just wanted to do a walk only.  So...I went out and did the C25K workout on my own.  I came home and was beat.  I had just enough time to cool down a little and eat some leftover spaghetti before it was time to head to Alicia's.

I usually drive to Alicia's (she lives in my subdivision) but today I decided to ride my bike.  It was kinda tricky because I didn't have any pockets.  I had to stuff my phone in my sports bra!  But it felt good to ride my bike there.  I should do that more often!  We went for about an hour walk and then I had a glass of wine with her. 

When I got home I chopped up some lettuce for my week of salads.  Then I cut up a watermelon for my snacks.  I find it so much easier to eat more fruits and veggies when I have them prewashed, chopped and packaged in little tupperware containers.  It is so fast and easy to just grab the container out of the fridge on my way to work in the morning. 

This is going to be a pretty good week for me.  I have therapy tomorrow, dinner at Ericka's on Wednesday, then J comes home Thursday until Monday!  I'm so excited to see him.
