The first thing I looked for was the heartbeats. Once I saw both flickers, I started paying attention to what they looked like. You still can't make anything out. They both look like little blobs. The nurse was measuring them but I was too busy looking at the babies to see what the measurements were. The doctor said everything looked good, so I won't worry too much about size or heart rate. While the nurse was moving things around, she said she thought she saw one of them wiggle. But then she wasn't sure if it was just her moving things that made it look like movement. But a few minutes later, one of the babies definitely start squirming around! It was so cute! It's weird b/c you see these things on the screen that are suppose to be your babies, but they don't look like babies. But then when one of them moved...oh my gosh! There's a living person in my uterus! So fun!
The office also lent me a PrimaBella. It looks like an ugly watch that you wear on your wrist. When you turn it on, it "...emits gentle pulses which are transmitted through the median nerve on the underside of the wrist and travel to the emetic center in the brain..." Basically, I feels like tingles going through my wrist, up the palm of my hand and through my fingers. It has five settings. I only have it on the 2nd one right now. I will probably move it up if I need to, but I want to get used to how it feels on the 2nd setting right now. It's definitely noticeable. I felt a little nauseous today but haven't thrown up. Its hard to say if it is from the band or the zofran that I took this morning. We will see tomorrow when I don't take any zofran.
I am posting today's ultrasound picture, as well as the one from 10 days ago so you can see how much growth there has been. I get to go back again in a week for another look! Yay!

That is a lot of growth! I'm glad they are both looking good. :)
ReplyDeleteI had my first U/S at 6w4d because I had no clue how far along I was. It was all a blur because I was still in shock that I was pregnant. I thought I was going to take the test at the ob/gyn's office and she was going to come in and tell me I wasn't pregnant and I read the 3 home tests wrong.
